GB/T 37709-2019 General specification for learning services outside formal education

Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for non-formal education services, applicable to all forms of lifelong education (such as vocational training, outsourced or in-house training in enterprises), including all services provided by education service providers (LSPs) for learners and customers who purchase services on behalf of learners. The main characteristics of these services are clear learning objectives, evaluable services, and interaction with learners. Learning can be conducted in face-to-face form, with the help of technological media, or a combination of the two.
If the education service provider is part of an organization that also provides products (such as goods and services) beyond education services, this standard only applies to non-formal education services.
This standard does not specifically regulate education services provided by schools, colleges, and universities within the formal education system, but these organizations can use this standard as a tool for self-evaluation.
