Scope
This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements and test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, and storage of calcium-based grease made by saponifying animal and plant fats with calcium soap to thicken mineral lubricating oil. The products covered by this standard are suitable for lubrication and protection of mechanical equipment in metallurgy, textile and other industries, as well as agricultural machinery such as tractors. The operating temperature range is -10℃ to 60℃.
