GB/T 37752.1-2019 Industrial furnaces and associated processing equipment—Safety—Part 1:General requirements

Scope

This part of GB/T 37752 specifies the general safety requirements for industrial furnaces and related process equipment (TPE).
This part covers the major hazards, dangerous situations, or dangerous events related to TPE listed in Appendix A, which is used for its intended purpose and in a misuse state that can be reasonably foreseen by the manufacturer.
Appendix B provides a list of common TPEs.
This part specifies the requirements that manufacturers should meet to ensure the safety of people and property during the design, trial run, start-up, operation, shutdown, maintenance, and disassembly of equipment, as well as when foreseeable failures or malfunctions occur.
Except for the provisions of other parts of GB/T 37752 related to specific equipment, these general safety requirements apply to all TPEs. The provisions of other parts of GB/T 37752 that can be directly applied to special types of TPEs take precedence over the provisions of this part.
This part does not apply to blast furnaces, converters (in steel mills), boilers, or equipment not covered by ISO 12100.
