Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and codes, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage of glass fiber filter materials. This standard applies to woven filter cloths, needle-punched felts, and ePTFE-coated filter materials produced primarily from glass fiber for dry dust collection and filtration purposes.
