Scope

This document specifies the method of converting between two limit values for the Product Committee, namely, converting the "defined limit values" in the "defined test method" to the "derived limit values" in the "alternative test method". This method is generally applicable to all types of interference measurements, but it focuses more on radiation interference measurements (i.e., field strength and total radiation power), as some alternative test methods for field strength measurements have been specified. When the Product Committee and other organizations responsible for setting emission limits decide to use alternative test methods and corresponding limit values in product standards, they can use this method to convert the limit values.
