Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and shelf life of fatty alkyl dimethyl tertiary amines.
This standard applies to fatty alkyl dimethyl tertiary amines (N,N-dimethyl alkyl tertiary amines) prepared from fatty alcohols or fatty acids, which are mainly used in the preparation of cationic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants, non-ionic surfactants, and antistatic agents, etc.
This standard does not apply to fatty alkyl dimethyl tertiary amines prepared from carbonyl synthesis alcohols.
