Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, and test methods for finished warm-mix asphalt made from road petroleum asphalt and polymer-modified asphalt as raw materials, with the addition of surfactant-type warm-mix additives. It also stipulates requirements for inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage, and safety. This standard applies to warm-mix asphalt used for paving roads, bridge decks, tunnel surfaces, and other applications.
