本文件规定了热轧型钢表面质量分类、测量规则、修磨要求、修焊及其检验规则、数值修约等。本文件适用于公称厚度在3 mm～160 mm之间的热轧H型钢和剖分T型钢、热轧等边角钢、热轧不等边角钢、热轧L型钢、热轧工字钢、热轧槽钢等热轧型钢（以下简称型钢）的表面质量，其表面包含除轧制边以外的所有表面。
