Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods and rules, marking, packaging, and storage requirements for corrosion inhibitors used in inorganic resistance-reducing materials for grounding networks.
This document is applicable to steel grounding networks used in industrial and civil power installations. The technical specifications for corrosion inhibitors used in pure copper (or copper-plated steel) grounding networks are provided for reference.
Note: Corrosion inhibitors for grounding network resistance-reducing materials refer to substances that can be uniformly mixed with grounding network resistance-reducing materials and used to inhibit and slow down the corrosion of metals such as steel used in the manufacture of grounding networks.
