Scope
This document establishes the terminology and definitions commonly used to present attack detection methods, feature descriptions, and evaluations. The scope of this document does not include the following: -- Standardization of specific methods for presenting attack detection; -- Detailed information about countermeasures (such as anti-deception technologies), algorithms, or sensors; -- Biometric identification system-level security or vulnerability assessments. The attacks considered in this document are those that occur on sensors during the presentation and collection of biometric identification features. Other attacks are outside the scope of this document.
