Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for Class 8 steel forged lifting components (hereinafter referred to as "components") with a maximum working load of not more than 63 tons. They are mainly used in the following lifting and slinging equipment:
——Hanging chains specified in GB/T 20652 and GB/T 25853;
——Steel wire rope slinging equipment specified in ISO 7531;
——Woven slinging equipment.
This standard does not apply to hand-forged components, welded chain links, and other welded components.
