Scope

This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of rabbit-derived metallothionein types I and II (MT-I and MT-II) in biological samples.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the total content of rabbit-derived metallothionein types I and II in biological samples such as biological preparations or biological extracts.
The detection limit of this method is 6.2 mg/kg.
