Scope

This standard specifies the work procedures, evaluation content, technical methods, and requirements for the preparation of reports (tables) for environmental impact assessments of marine engineering construction projects.
This standard applies to the environmental impact assessments of marine engineering construction projects within the internal waters, territorial seas, and other sea areas under the jurisdiction of the People's Republic of China; regional marine environmental impact assessments, retrospective marine environmental impact assessments, and environmental impact assessments of other marine-related construction projects may be implemented with reference to this standard.
