Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, marking, and packaging of protective clothing for molten metal splash protection, and describes the testing methods. This document is applicable to workplaces where there is a risk of molten metal splash, such as metal smelting and casting, and is used to prevent or reduce the damage caused by molten metal to workers. This document is not applicable to protective clothing for protecting against molten cryolite.
