Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 26141 specifies the evaluation procedures for the basic performance parameters of digital processing of radiographic negatives, such as: spatial resolution, spatial linearity, density range, density contrast sensitivity, and characteristic transfer curves. They can be integrated into software systems together with standard reference negatives (see Chapter 5) to conduct quality control of the digital processing process. Reference negatives provide a series of test targets for performance evaluation. The test targets are suitable for evaluating digital systems with spatial resolution as small as 25 μm, density contrast sensitivity as small as 0.02 optical density, density range of 0.5 to 4.5, and negative size of (350×430) mm2. This part does not involve signal processing and display of digital data.
