Scope

This part of GB/T 16656 specifies the format of the pure text-coded exchange file structure for product data, for which a conceptual model has been defined in EXPRESS language (GB/T 16656.11). This file format is suitable for the transmission of product data between computer systems. This part specifies the mapping from EXPRESS language to the syntax of the exchange structure language. Any EXPRESS diagram can be mapped to the exchange structure system.
