FZ/T 50016-2011 Testing method for flame retardant property of viscose staple fibers—Oxygen index
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the test method for the flame retardant performance of viscose staple fibers — the oxygen index method.
This method is suitable for determining the oxygen index of flame-retardant viscose staple fibers, and the fiber length should meet the requirements for spinning. Other types of staple fibers can be used as a reference.
This standard is only used to determine the combustion performance of materials under laboratory conditions and to control product quality, but it cannot be used as a basis for assessing the fire hazard under actual use conditions, or it can only be used to analyze all factors of a material used for a particular purpose in the event of a fire. This standard is not suitable for evaluating materials with high shrinkage rates after heating.
