Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of isobutylene-isoprene rubber (hereinafter referred to as IIR).
This standard applies to isobutylene-isoprene rubber (IIR) prepared by copolymerization at low temperature using isobutylene and isoprene as the main raw materials and methyl chloride as the solvent.
