Scope

Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions, production requirements, personnel management, and production process management for the production of Qionghai tea oil (Shanyou oil) according to the technical specifications of the Qionghai Oil Tea Association. This document applies to the production and processing of Qionghai tea oil (Shanyou oil) by member enterprises of the Qionghai Oil Tea Association; Main technical content: 4.4 Post-harvest processing of raw materials 4.4.1 Processing of tea fruits: Harvest fully ripe tea fruits, and dry them in a clean area or in a drying facility at a temperature not exceeding 60°C. After the skin cracks, manually pick out the seeds or separate them using mechanical methods. Fresh fruits can also be directly mechanically dehulled. After dehulling, the seed content in the dehulled material should be less than 2%, and the seed content in the dehulled material should be less than 5%. The storage time of fresh fruits before dehulling should not exceed 3 days to prevent rain exposure and heat-induced mold growth. 4.4.2 Drying and separation of tea seeds: After drying and separating the tea seeds, they should be promptly dried on clean cement sunbeds or on mat pads, or using natural ventilation drying equipment or drying facilities (drying rooms, drying ovens, dryers, etc.), and should not be dried with open flames to prevent smoke pollution. The drying temperature should not exceed 60°C. 4.4.3 Storage of tea seeds: After drying, the moisture content of the stored tea seeds should be controlled below 8%, and other indicators should comply with GB/T 37917. The storage environment should be kept clean, dry, and ventilated. The storage time of dried tea seeds at room temperature should not exceed 3 months. 4.5 Oil extraction process 4.5.1 Process flow: The oil can be extracted using a screw press or hydraulic press. The process flow is shown in Figure 1. Figure 1 Process flow diagram of oil extraction 4.5.2 Impurity remo
