Scope

This standard specifies the electromagnetic environmental requirements for long-wave remote radio navigation stations (i.e., Loran-C navigation stations) and long-wave remote radio navigation system monitoring stations (i.e., Loran-C monitoring stations). It stipulates the restrictions on active interference and facilities around the stations to ensure that they provide normal navigation information.
This standard applies to the electromagnetic environmental management of long-wave remote radio navigation stations and monitoring stations, and can be used as one of the electromagnetic compatibility criteria between the aforementioned navigation stations and monitoring stations and other facilities.
This standard does not apply to other marine radio navigation stations and monitoring stations.
