Scope

This part of GB/T 33905 specifies the architecture of smart sensors and the general methods and procedures for testing the functional and performance characteristics of smart sensors. This part is applicable to smart sensors. This part is also applicable to other types of sensors (provided that their differences are considered in advance). For some smart sensors composed of micro-electromechanical system components (such as chemical analyzers, flow meters, etc.) and smart sensors intended for use in special environments (such as explosive gas environments), reference should also be made to other relevant national standards.
