Scope

This procedure is applicable to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of automotive emission gas testers (hereinafter referred to as testers). The testers are used to measure the volume fraction of one or more components. The minimum measurement range of the tester for the volume fraction of different components shall meet the following requirements: HC: (0～2,000)×10-6, CO: (0～500)×10-2, CO2: (0～160)×10-2, NO: (0～4,000)×10-6, O2: (0～210)×10-2, NO2: (0～400)×10-6.
