Scope
This standard specifies the test equipment, specimens, test conditions, test procedures, calculations, and test reports for the tensile properties of directionally reinforced polymer-based composite laminates.
This standard is applicable to the determination of the in-plane tensile properties of symmetrically balanced laminates reinforced with continuous fibers (including fabrics) in polymer-based composites.
