Scope
This standard specifies the test conditions, comparison samples, test preparations, test items and methods, and test reports for the comprehensive performance of automatic magnetic leakage detection systems for steel pipes and steel bars (generally composed of magnetic leakage detectors, detection elements, magnetizing devices, and mechanical transmission devices, etc.). This standard is applicable to the comprehensive performance testing of automatic magnetic leakage detection systems for steel pipes and steel bars, including linear advancing type, rod-helix advancing type, and in-situ rotating type systems.
