Scope

This part of GB/T 20897 specifies the minimum safety requirements for the design, materials, manufacturing, and testing of inflatable boats (including rigid inflatable boats) with a total length of less than 8 m and a minimum buoyancy of 1800 N. This part applies to the following types of inflatable boats intended to operate in an ambient temperature range of -20 ℃ to 60 ℃: -- Type VII: Inflatable boats capable of achieving an engine rated power of 15 kW or more; -- Type VIII: Inflatable boats capable of achieving an engine rated power of 75 kW or more, and with a stability coefficient greater than 250.
