Scope

This part of GB/T 31213 specifies the ultrasonic testing method for cast iron components.
This part is applicable to the detection of casting defects in the manufacturing process of cast iron components with a thickness of 10 mm to 500 mm (including cast iron dryers, cast iron pipeline components, cast iron valves, cast iron structural parts, etc.), the detection of the spheroidization grade of nodular cast iron components, and the detection of defects in used cast iron components with a thickness of 10 mm to 50 mm.
