Scope

This standard specifies the dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations of steel plates and steel strips used for welding gas cylinders, as well as their technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This standard applies to hot-rolled steel plates and steel strips with a thickness of 2.0 mm to 14.0 mm, and cold-rolled steel plates and steel strips with a thickness of 1.5 mm to 4.0 mm used for welding gas cylinders.
