Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and designations, dimensions, shapes and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage of stainless steel bellows and fittings for fluid transmission. This document is applicable to bellows, fittings, and accessories used for conveying water for domestic use (cold and hot), compressed air, and gas with a nominal pressure not exceeding 1.6 MPa.
