Scope

This document specifies the classification and grading of power quality monitoring equipment (hereinafter referred to as "monitoring equipment"), technical requirements, and describes the corresponding test methods. It also stipulates inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This document applies to fixed monitoring equipment and portable monitoring equipment used in AC power systems. Other equipment with power quality monitoring functions shall be implemented in accordance with this document.
