Scope

This part specifies the determination method of trace elements in calcined petroleum coke used for carbon anodes.
This part is applicable to the determination of trace elements in samples of calcined petroleum coke used for carbon anodes with a ash content (mass fraction) of less than 1%, and is also applicable to the determination of trace elements in petroleum coke, pre-baked anodes, and coal tar pitch. For elements with concentrations exceeding the upper limit of the detection range, the determination shall be carried out after appropriate dilution.
