Scope

This part of GB/T 18802 is applicable to the selection, operation, installation, and coordination of surge protectors (SPDs) in telecommunications and signal networks with a nominal system voltage not exceeding AC 1,000 Vr.m.s and DC 1,500 V.
This part is also applicable to SPDs combined in the same housing for the protection of signal lines and power lines.
