Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of waste chemical collection, general provisions, requirements for the classification of waste chemicals, requirements for the collection of waste chemicals, requirements for the packaging of waste chemicals, requirements for the marking and labeling of waste chemicals, requirements for the storage of waste chemicals, requirements for the management of waste chemical collection, and safety and pollution prevention. This standard applies to the activities related to the classification, collection, storage, and daily management of waste chemicals by waste chemical generators and operators. This standard does not apply to medical waste, radioactive waste, and biochemical waste chemicals involving biological factors (microorganisms and biologically active substances).
