Scope
This standard specifies the basis and methods for identifying major hazard sources of dangerous chemicals.
This standard applies to enterprises or organizations engaged in the production, use, storage, and operation of dangerous chemicals.
This standard does not apply to:
a) Nuclear facilities and factories processing radioactive substances, except for departments handling non-radioactive substances in these facilities and factories;
b) Military facilities;
c) Mining industries, except for processing and storage activities involving dangerous chemicals;
d) Transportation of dangerous chemicals;
e) Offshore oil and gas extraction activities.
