Scope

This standard specifies the methods for the isolation and identification of Haemophilus parasuis, as well as the methods for nested PCR detection and real-time fluorescence PCR detection. This standard is applicable to the detection of Haemophilus parasuis in samples such as pig lung, heart, brain, pleural and peritoneal effusion or joint fluid, anticoagulated blood, and bacterial cultures.
