Scope

This standard specifies the usage conditions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and product documentation for traction-type cargo elevators (hereinafter referred to as elevators) with a rated speed not exceeding 0.5 m/s, a rated load not exceeding 3,000 kg, a maximum of six floors, and a lifting height not exceeding 20 m. This standard does not apply to elevators, construction elevators, or non-traction-type cargo elevators.
