This standard specifies the common terminology for wood preservation.
This standard applies to the fields of wood preservation and wood flame retardation before and during the use of roundwood of coniferous and broadleaf trees (including logs, power poles, pit poles, column materials, etc.), sawn timber (including boards, square timber, sleepers, and timber for wooden structures, etc.), wood-based composites, and other wooden products.
