Scope

This document specifies the classification, general requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of polysulfide construction sealants. This document is applicable to multi-component construction sealants cured at room temperature using liquid polysulfide rubber as the base material. This document is not applicable to polysulfide sealants used for the second sealing of insulated glass.
