Scope
This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, inspection, testing, inspection rules, and acceptance of non-steel rope suspension devices for elevators.
This standard applies to non-steel rope suspension devices involving traction-driven elevators, which use steel ropes or non-metallic materials as load-bearing components. For non-steel rope suspension devices made of other new materials or structures, this standard can be referenced for implementation, and the parts that are not applicable shall be determined through consultation between the supplier and the buyer.
