Scope
This part of GB/T 12704 specifies the method of determining the moisture permeability of fabrics by evaporation. This part includes two methods: Method A (positive cup method) and Method B (negative cup method).
This part is applicable to all kinds of sheet-like fabrics with a thickness of less than 10 mm. Among them, Method B (negative cup method) is only suitable for testing waterproof and breathable fabrics.
