Scope

Scope: This document specifies the terminology and definitions of major soil-borne diseases of solanaceous vegetables, the types of major soil-borne diseases, their occurrence sites and symptoms, prevention and control principles, agricultural prevention, physical prevention, chemical prevention, biological prevention, and file establishment. This document is applicable to the prevention and control of major soil-borne diseases of solanaceous vegetables. Main technical contents: 1. Terminology and definitions: The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document. 1.1 Solanaceous fruit vegetables: Vegetable crops of the Solanaceae family that use berries as edible parts, including tomatoes, eggplants, and peppers, etc. 2. Main soil-borne diseases: 2.1 Fungal diseases: 2.1.1 High incidence of diseases in the seedling stage: Sudden collapse and stem blight. 2.1.2 High incidence of diseases from transplantation to the seedling stage: Stem base rot. 2.1.3 High incidence of diseases from the seedling to fruiting stage: Root rot, wilt, and yellow wilt, etc. 2.2 Bacterial diseases: Green rot and ulcer disease, most of which occur after flowering and fruit setting. 2.3 Root-knot nematode diseases: They can occur throughout the entire growth period. 3. Occurrence sites and symptoms: Mainly concentrated in the stem base and roots. Under sufficient soil moisture, the leaves of the plants show symptoms such as wilting, yellowing, and wilt. In the early stage of the disease, the wilting of the leaves can be recovered, but in the later stage, the wilting of the leaves will become irreversible. The outer skin of the stem base rots and falls off, the vascular bundles of the stem base turn brown, and the roots become brown, swollen, and root-knotted. 4. Prevention and control principles: Prevention-oriented and integrated prevention and control. Based on agricultural prevention, rational use of physical prevention, chemical prevention, and biological prevention. 5. A
