Scope

This document specifies a method for separating and determining aniline compounds in gasoline using solid-phase extraction/gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. This document is applicable to the qualitative identification and quantitative determination of aniline, N-methylaniline, o-methylaniline, p-methylaniline, m-methylaniline, o-ethylaniline, m-ethylaniline, p-ethylaniline, 2,6-dimethylaniline, 2,5-dimethylaniline, 2,4-dimethylaniline, 2,3-dimethylaniline, 3,5-dimethylaniline, 3,4-dimethylaniline, and trimethylaniline in gasoline (including ethanol gasoline with an ethanol volume fraction of no more than 15%). This document determines the concentration range of individual aniline compounds from 0.005 g/L to 20.0 g/L, and the concentration range of total aniline compounds from 0.04 g/L to 80.0 g/L.
