Scope
This part of GB/T 13663 specifies the terms and definitions, symbols, abbreviations, materials, and hygiene requirements for polyethylene (PE) piping systems used for water supply.
Together with other parts of GB/T 13663, this part applies to polyethylene piping systems and their components for pressure water transmission and drinking water distribution, where the water temperature does not exceed 40 °C and the maximum operating pressure (MOP) does not exceed 2.0 MPa, for general use.
