Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 "Lianyuan Lianhong" Citrus "Lianyuan Lianhong" citrus refers to early- and medium-maturing fresh fruit varieties such as Jinqiu sugar oranges, Wenzhou mandarins, and navel oranges, as well as processing varieties like Daidai sour oranges, Ou citrus, and Jin citrus, produced within a specific ecological environment of Lianyuan City, between 111°-112°E and 27°-28°N. 3.2 Low-Efficiency Orchard An orchard where the yield and profitability are significantly lower than the market average due to unsuitable varieties, aging trees, poor basic conditions, or improper cultivation and management practices. 4. Preliminary Survey Before renovation, an orchard survey should be conducted, including but not limited to the following aspects: - Tree varieties, tree age, basic conditions, and cultivation management. - For orchards with trees over 20 years old showing aging, degenerated varieties, severe pests and diseases, or failing to meet market demands, the trees should be removed and replaced with high-quality new varieties. - For orchards with relatively robust trees but an average yield of less than 1,000 kg/mu in the past three years, quality improvement measures such as high-grafting and clonal replacement, row-wise pruning, tree structure modification, soil improvement, fertilization management, and pest/disease control should be implemented. 5. Renovation and Transformation The renovation and transformation should comply with T/HNSGJXH 0031. The overall layout should include planting zones, road systems, irrigation and drainage systems, supporting facilities, and protective forests. Appropriate planting densities should be adopted: - On flat land: (3 m–4 m) × (4.5 m–5.5 m) - On slopes: (2.5 m–3.5 m) - In the planting pit on the ridge, a 40 cm–50 cm-diameter hole should be dug, with organic fertilizers, calcium-magnesium phosphate fe
