Scope

This document specifies the method for determining the position of the center of gravity of road vehicles, and describes a method for determining the horizontal position of the center of gravity and three methods for determining the height of the center of gravity.
This document is applicable to cars, trailers, and vehicle combinations. However, the method of measuring the height of the center of gravity using the lifting axle is not suitable for articulated buses, semi-trailers, drawbar trailers (with supporting functions), center-axle trailers, and vehicle combinations.
