Scope

This standard specifies the energy consumption limits, calculation principles, calculation scope, calculation methods, and energy-saving management and measures for pressure casting units of non-ferrous metals (referring to aluminum alloys, zinc alloys, and magnesium alloys, hereinafter the same). This standard applies to the energy consumption calculation and assessment of enterprises producing non-ferrous metal castings (hereinafter referred to as "castings") by pressure casting processes, as well as the energy consumption control of related new and expansion projects.
