Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for conducting on-site observations for climate feasibility studies, including the selection, design, and construction of dedicated meteorological stations, instruments, completion acceptance, data collection and review, and operational management. This standard applies to climate feasibility study projects where the data from the reference meteorological stations cannot meet the project's climate feasibility study needs, the project-related engineering meteorological parameters cannot be covered by existing standards or exceed the scope of existing standards, or where on-site meteorological observations are required by the project's industry.
