Scope

This document describes the method of determining the content of phenyl and vinyl in silicone rubber using nuclear magnetic resonance hydrogen spectroscopy. This document is applicable to single phenyl methyl vinyl silicone rubber (MPVMQ), di phenyl methyl vinyl silicone rubber (DPVMQ) and methyl vinyl silicone rubber (VMQ) with no phenyl in the side chain. This document is not applicable to phenylene silicone rubber.
