Scope

This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for automotive gasoline composed of liquid hydrocarbons and additives to improve its performance, as well as sampling, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage. The products covered by this standard are suitable for use as fuel for spark-ignition internal combustion engines. Automotive gasoline that meets the technical requirements in Table 1 of this standard can satisfy the requirements of GB 18352.2; automotive gasoline that meets the technical requirements in Table 2 of this standard can satisfy the requirements of Stage III in GB 18352.3.
