GB/T 23511-2009 Petroleum and natural gas industries—General requirements for offshore structures
Basic Information
Scope
This standard sets out the basic principles for the design and assessment of structures subject to certain or predictable effects. These basic principles apply to all types of marine structures, including foundation support structures and floating structures, as well as all types of materials, including steel, concrete, and aluminum.
This standard establishes design principles for the use and decommissioning of structures during their expected design life, and it applies to all stages of structure construction (such as manufacturing, transportation, and installation). These principles not only apply to the assessment and modification of existing structures, but also to activities such as quality control.
This standard applies to the overall structure design, including the lower structure, upper structure, hull, foundation, and mooring systems.
