GB/T 31593.9-2015 Fire safety engineering—Part 9:Guidance on evaluation of behaviour and movement of people

Scope

This part of GB/T 31593 specifies the evaluation, quantification, and management methods of people's behavior in fire situations, especially emergency evacuation behavior. It proposes parameters that form the basis for the evaluation of people's safe evacuation design, and provides information on the processes, evaluations, and calculations needed to determine the location and status of people in buildings over time.
This part provides fire safety engineering designers, managers, and fire safety technicians with engineering methods and life safety assessment guidelines for evacuation strategies in fire safety engineering design, and is applicable to the evaluation of people's evacuation in fire safety engineering.
The evacuation of people referred to in this part does not include the emergency evacuation of people by elevators.
